Responsibilities For Program Manager, Data Center Construction, Environmental Health and Safety

  • Be responsible for Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) management and oversight within the MARCUS framework at operational data centers
  • Work directly with general contractors, electrical/mechanical trades and organizations, key integrators, fabricators, and commissioning agents
  • Engage in pre-qualification evaluations of potential vendors, update project manual, and communicate quality standards and EHS expectations
  • Serve as an interface to process excellence and information technology teams for best practices, data feeds, metrics, and lessons learned

Requirements For Program Manager, Data Center Construction, Environmental Health and Safety

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, EHS, Architecture, Construction management, or related field
  • 5 years of experience in program or project management
  • 5 years of experience in Environmental, Health and Safety management
  • 5 years of experience with technical teams responsible for project management, engineering, and construction of data centers
  • Experience with Electrical Safety in the Workplace (EU standards NEN-EN 50110, NEN3140, and US NFPA 70E standards)
  • Experience implementing EHS needs in data center design
  • Knowledge of data center operations, facilities management, engineering, and construction
  • Knowledge of data center structural, electrical, mechanical, and controls equipment
  • Strategic thinking and analysis skills
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and facilitation skills
