Google is seeking a Program Manager II to join their Memory Commodity Operations team within Technical Infrastructure. This role is crucial in managing the supply execution and delivery of commodities for AI/ML infrastructure, particularly focusing on high-bandwidth memory (HBM) components.

The position offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $117,000 to $172,000, plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits. Located in Atlanta, GA, this role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in program or project management, along with specific expertise in memory commodity operations and materials management.

As a Program Manager, you'll be responsible for leading complex, multi-disciplinary projects that span across different offices, time zones, and hemispheres. You'll work closely with internal customers, planning teams, procurement, finance, and operations partners to manage supplier forecasts and supply operations that support Google's growing cloud infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include aggregating worldwide forecasts for HBM parts, leading fulfillment development throughout product lifecycles, working with ASIC and foundry partners, and driving process improvements. The role requires strong analytical skills, with experience in SQL or BigQuery being highly valuable.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and experience in supply chain management within the high-tech industry. Knowledge of supply execution processes for HBM and DRAM is crucial for success in this position.

Responsibilities For Program Manager II, Memory Commodity Operations, Technical Infrastructure

  • Work across organizations to aggregate worldwide forecasts for high-bandwidth memory (HBM) parts. Develop and execute quality supply execution plans that efficiently utilize inventory assets
  • Lead a team in the development of fulfillment throughout the entire product lifecycle. Act as a focal point for managing resource constraints, technology transitions, inventory and fulfillment objectives
  • Work with ASIC and foundry partners to monitor TPU production plans and yields for optimal HBM material schedule and inventory management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional finance, planning, operations, and commodity management teams to drive best solutions. Collaborate with suppliers/foundry partners to manage various processes
  • Advocate process improvements and tool development in support of HBM supply execution and management reporting requirements. Participate actively in design, proof-of-concept and user acceptance testing for various operations systems

Requirements For Program Manager II, Memory Commodity Operations, Technical Infrastructure

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 2 years of experience in program or project management
  • Experience with memory commodity operations and materials management
  • Master's degree or MBA in Supply Chain, or a related field (preferred)
  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects (preferred)
  • Experience with commodity management or supply chain management in the high-tech industry (preferred)
  • Experience in Analytics, SQL, or BigQuery (preferred)
  • Knowledge of supply execution processes for HBM to support SoC fabrication (preferred)
  • Knowledge of the supply base for high-bandwidth memory (HBM), dynamic random access memory (DRAM) (preferred)
