Description For SAP Application Engineer, Supply Chain Logistics

Google is seeking a SAP Application Engineer to join their Technical Infrastructure team, focusing on supply chain logistics. This role involves writing code to enable and optimize logistics processes for Google's compute and network sites. As part of the team that builds and maintains Google's architecture, you'll be working on systems that automate Alphabet's supply chain and integrate with both internal systems and third-party logistics providers.

The position requires expertise in SAP HANA and SAP ERP, with a focus on implementing, customizing, and integrating third-party applications within Finance, Supply Chain, HR, and Marketing. You'll be collaborating with developers, logistics operations leads, and business systems analysts across Google, while identifying opportunities for improving engineering productivity.

The role is remote-eligible and based in Mexico, offering an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology at one of the world's leading tech companies. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with experience in full system implementation life cycles.

This position is part of Google's Technical Infrastructure team, which is responsible for keeping Google's networks running and ensuring users have the best and fastest experience possible. The team takes pride in being "engineers' engineers" and approaches challenges with innovation and technical expertise.

Requirements For SAP Application Engineer, Supply Chain Logistics

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or other technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience working with SAP HANA and SAP ERP
