Google is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead their Payments Platform Compliance initiatives. This role is crucial for meeting regulatory requirements and driving business sustainability. The position focuses on building innovative capabilities for Anti-Money Laundering, Sanctions Screening, and Know Your Customer (KYC) systems.

The role involves partnering with Google businesses to understand and address regulatory compliance needs, developing product strategies, and building roadmaps. You'll be responsible for defining review tools used by analysts and exploring AI/ML applications to enhance operational efficiency. Collaboration with financial compliance investigators, engineers, data scientists, and program managers is key.

This position offers a competitive compensation package including a base salary range of $183,000-$271,000, plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits. The ideal candidate will bring 8+ years of product management experience, strong technical understanding, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities For Senior Product Manager, Payments Platform Compliance

  • Work on areas within Payments, Regulatory Compliance platform, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) or Sanctions Screening
  • Work with various business stakeholders to understand, measure, and prioritize individual needs
  • Work with Google businesses such as Cloud or Play to understand their regulatory needs
  • Build a strategy and roadmap for reducing business and customer insult through better user experiences
  • Develop and manage complex and large-scale projects for the platform

Requirements For Senior Product Manager, Payments Platform Compliance

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role
  • 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch
  • Ability to translate product direction into technical roadmaps
  • Ability for thought leadership and building strong relationships
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, investigative, influencing, communication and presentation skills
