Responsibilities For Senior Software Engineer, Dataform
- Be responsible for working across a wide range of technologies and to deliver new APIs, services, infrastructure, features and fixes to the Dataform platform and to our open-source projects
- Work closely with leaders across multiple teams to define product and technical requirements
- Identify, propose and deliver improvements to processes, reliability, scalability, APIs and long term architecture
- Lead execution of critical workstreams across Dataform and BigQuery, planning, stakeholder management, and communication
- Design, implement, and launch new products, features, and components with product excellence
Requirements For Senior Software Engineer, Dataform
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms
- 3 years of experience with API design and development for large-scale distributed systems
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field (preferred)
- Experience coding in Java or Kotlin (preferred)
