Senior Staff Interaction Designer, Google Cloud

Google Cloud is seeking a Senior Staff Interaction Designer to join their team and help shape the future of enterprise-grade cloud solutions. This role sits at the intersection of user experience and cloud technology, where you'll be responsible for creating intuitive and innovative design solutions that serve billions of users worldwide.

As a Senior Staff Interaction Designer, you'll be part of Google's User Experience (UX) team, a multi-disciplinary group comprising UX Designers, Researchers, Writers, Content Strategists, Program Managers, and Engineers. The role requires a deep commitment to user-centered design principles and the ability to transform complex technical concepts into accessible, elegant user experiences.

You'll work closely with stakeholders across the organization, leading the development of design strategies and solutions that align with both user needs and business objectives. Your responsibilities will include owning holistic design processes, contributing to design systems, and guiding other UX designers in creating research-ready design concepts.

The position offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $224,000-$315,000, plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits. You'll have the opportunity to work from several prestigious locations, including Kirkland, New York, Seattle, and San Francisco.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of product design or UX experience, with demonstrated expertise in designing across multiple platforms and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You should have a strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create user flows, wireframes, and prototypes that solve complex design challenges.
