Description For SoC Test Hardware and Equipment Engineer, Google Cloud

Google Cloud is seeking a skilled SoC Test Hardware and Equipment Engineer to join their Technical Infrastructure team. This role is crucial in developing and maintaining Google's cutting-edge data centers and hardware infrastructure. As part of Google's hardware engineering team, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing test solutions for semiconductor devices, working with state-of-the-art Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) and System Level Test (SLT) platforms.

The position offers an opportunity to work on unique and complex computational challenges that require custom hardware solutions. You'll be involved in the complete hardware lifecycle, from initial design through to high-volume manufacturing, directly impacting the infrastructure that powers Google's services used by millions globally.

The ideal candidate will bring 8 years of experience in semiconductor hardware engineering, with specific expertise in mechanical and thermal characterization for automated test solutions. You'll lead critical initiatives in ATE platform setup, thermal solutions development, and automation of hardware solutions, working closely with design and validation teams.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, has a strong background in hardware engineering, and wants to make a significant impact on Google's infrastructure. You'll be working with cutting-edge technology, collaborating with world-class engineers, and contributing to the backbone of Google's technical operations.

The position is based in either Tel Aviv or Haifa, Israel, offering the opportunity to work in Google's state-of-the-art facilities. You'll be part of a team that's proud to be "engineers' engineers," working on hardware solutions that push the boundaries of what's possible in data center technology.
