Description For Software Engineer II, Chrome Enterprise Core

Google is seeking a Software Engineer II to join their Chrome Enterprise Core team. This role is part of Google's mission to develop next-generation technologies that impact billions of users worldwide. Chrome Enterprise Core focuses on cloud management features for Chrome Enterprise customers. The position involves working with both backend and frontend technologies, requiring expertise in languages like Python, Java, Go, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

As part of Google's Chrome team, you'll contribute to making a better browser across all major platforms (iOS, Android, Windows, Mac, Linux, and Chrome OS). Chrome is built as an open source project, emphasizing innovation in speed, simplicity, and security for the entire web ecosystem.

  • 1 year of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, GO, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent
  • 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms
