Google Cloud is seeking a Software Engineer III to join their Infrastructure team. This role is crucial in developing and maintaining the technical infrastructure that powers Google's vast product portfolio. The position involves working on large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, and critical Google Cloud technologies.

As a Software Engineer III, you'll be part of the Technical Infrastructure team that builds and maintains the architecture behind everything users see online. The role combines hands-on coding with system design, focusing on developing solutions that handle information at massive scale. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies across distributed computing, system design, networking, and data storage.

Google Cloud accelerates organizations' digital transformation by providing the best infrastructure, platform, and industry solutions. The team serves customers in over 200 countries, delivering enterprise-grade solutions leveraging Google's cutting-edge technology. You'll be contributing to the cleanest cloud in the industry and helping solve critical business problems for global customers.

The ideal candidate will bring strong C++ development experience, deep knowledge of data structures and algorithms, and the ability to work on complex technical challenges. You'll collaborate with peers and stakeholders, participate in design reviews, and ensure code quality through reviews and best practices.   • Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices
  • Contribute to existing documentation or educational content
  • Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues

Requirements For Software Engineer III, Infrastructure, Google Cloud

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 2 years of experience with software development in C++
  • 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms in either an academic or industry setting
