Strategic Cloud Engineer, Application Modernization, Technical Delivery

Google is seeking a Strategic Cloud Engineer to join their Public Sector Professional Services team, specifically supporting the Service Delivery team for the Global Public Sector. The position requires a seasoned professional with 6+ years of experience in system design or programming, along with extensive experience in technical troubleshooting and partner management. As a Strategic Cloud Engineer, you'll be responsible for creating a center of excellence around cloud application development technologies, managing both full-time employees and contingent workforce. You'll establish processes for Service Delivery AppDev strategy, handle pre-sales Statement of Work support, and serve as the primary contact for data-related needs.

The role offers competitive compensation ($147,000-$216,000 base salary) plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits. Located in either Reston, VA or Washington D.C., you'll work with Google Public Sector, which focuses on helping US public sector institutions accelerate their digital transformations.
