Description For Technical Program Manager I, Software Across Gemini, Learning and Sustainability

Google's Learning and Education team is seeking a Technical Program Manager I to drive execution across innovative educational projects leveraging Gemini technology. Responsibilities For Technical Program Manager I, Software Across Gemini, Learning and Sustainability

  • Collect data relating to program progress from program stakeholders, maintain project trackers, and status reports in collaboration with program stakeholders
  • Author program charter that addresses scope and timeline of basic program, specify program OKRs, and explain resource requirements/dependencies
  • Triage technical bugs and feature requests alongside engineering stakeholders for purposes of prioritization, resourcing, and tracking execution
  • Organize and manage the activities that lead to the outcomes of a project (e.g., what, who, when, and how)
  • Align stakeholders on decisions and changing circumstances

Requirements For Technical Program Manager I, Software Across Gemini, Learning and Sustainability

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 1 year of experience in program management
  • Experience developing external facing products
  • Experience in software development
  • Experience in the technology industry (preferred)
  • Knowledge of machine learning techniques, including large language models (LLM) and AI (preferred)
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment, while navigating ambiguity throughout the process (preferred)
  • Ability to be an influential member of an integrated team composed of both technical and non-technical members (preferred)
  • Interest in the Learning and Education space (preferred)
