Google's Android Auto Partner Engineering team is seeking a Technical Solutions Consultant to drive the integration of Google products in automotive environments. This role combines technical expertise with client relationship management, focusing on delivering high-quality connected experiences in vehicles worldwide. The position involves working with major car manufacturers and suppliers to implement Android Automotive OS, Android Auto, and other Google automotive solutions.

As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you'll be at the intersection of technical consulting, program management, and client relationships. You'll collaborate with Google's Product, Engineering, UX, and Business Development teams to bring Google products and third-party apps to vehicles. The role requires strong technical knowledge, particularly in Android development and automotive software, combined with excellent stakeholder management skills.

The ideal candidate will have experience in technical consulting with customer-facing exposure, strong programming capabilities, and knowledge of automotive software development. You'll be responsible for managing multi-year technical programs, supporting partner onboarding, providing technical consultation, and driving operational improvements through automation and process enhancement.

Responsibilities For Technical Solutions Consultant, Android Auto Partner Engineering

  • Manage workstreams with car manufacturers and the suppliers globally as part of multi-year partner programs
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders (car manufacturers) and internal stakeholders
  • Support pre-sales engagements, partner onboarding, technical and product consulting for Google's automotive products
  • Lead or contribute to internal projects to scale operations
  • Travel up to 10% of the time for client engagements

  • 3 years of experience in solution engineering or architecture as well as stakeholder management, professional services, or technical consulting
