Technical Solutions Engineer, Security, Google Cloud

Google Cloud is seeking a Technical Solutions Engineer to join their Security team, combining technical expertise with customer support excellence. This role sits at the intersection of software development, networking, and systems administration, requiring both deep technical knowledge and strong consulting abilities. The position involves working directly with global businesses to resolve complex technical challenges and improve Google Cloud products.

As a Technical Solutions Engineer, you'll be responsible for diagnosing and resolving customer issues, implementing new operational tools, and serving as a technical authority for both internal teams and customers. You'll work closely with multiple product and engineering teams, including Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), to drive production excellence and product improvements.

The ideal candidate brings 4+ years of experience with programming (Python/C#), database systems, and SaaS product troubleshooting. You'll need strong technical fundamentals in areas like Linux/Unix systems, networking, and web technologies (HTTP, HTML, TCP, TLS, SAML). Security expertise is highly valued, with certifications like Security+, CEH, CISM, or CISSP being advantageous.
