TPU, Pre-Silicon Validation Engineer, Google Cloud

Google is seeking a TPU Pre-Silicon Validation Engineer to join their Google Cloud team, focusing on shaping the future of AI/ML hardware acceleration. This role is integral to the development and validation of Google's Tensor Processing Unit (TPU) technology, which powers their most demanding AI/ML applications. The position sits within the ML, Systems, & Cloud AI (MSCA) organization, responsible for Google's hardware, software, and machine learning infrastructure.

The role combines hardware and software expertise, requiring deep knowledge of chip validation, firmware development, and system integration. You'll work on integrating hardware and software stacks on emulation platforms, creating custom test cases, and ensuring the optimal performance of Google's TPU fleet. As a TPU Pre-Silicon Validation Engineer, you'll be responsible for critical tasks including silicon bring-up, validation, characterization, and qualification.
