Senior Software Engineer - Product, Catalog & Pricing

They are currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their product catalog and pricing team, where you'll play a crucial role in developing and maintaining critical systems that power their e-commerce platform.

The position focuses on building and improving cloud-based platforms that are essential to the customer experience. You'll be working with product catalog systems that are fundamental to Gopuff's technology stack, enabling e-commerce systems, fulfillment systems, and partner integrations. The role requires strong technical expertise in Java and cloud applications, with an emphasis on building highly scalable systems.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll be part of an empowered team where you'll contribute to technology decisions and collaborate on cross-functional projects in an agile environment. The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $175,000 to $220,000, depending on experience and location. While this is a remote position, candidates near Philadelphia, Miami, NYC, Boston, Seattle, or the Bay Area may receive preferential consideration.

The ideal candidate will bring 6+ years of engineering experience, particularly in building scalable public-facing websites, preferably in startup environments. You should have strong proficiency in Java, excellent understanding of data structures and algorithms, and experience with high-throughput systems. Additional valuable skills include experience with microservices, distributed systems, and cloud platforms (particularly Azure).
