Description For Design Engineer

GovEagle is building an AI RFP automation platform for medium to large government contractors. We're seeking a Design Engineer to own the design function and work directly with the CEO & CTO.

As our Design Engineer, you'll be responsible for building brand identity, solving data-heavy design challenges, and implementing UX flows. You'll work in a fast-paced, in-person environment with frequent customer interactions, focusing on understanding customer needs and delivering effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead brand identity creation aligned with company vision
  • Design and implement intuitive UI/UX solutions
  • Work closely with leadership using Next.js, TypeScript, and CSS
  • Participate in weekly customer office hours
  • Handle design system creation and maintenance
  • Operate in a high-security environment prioritizing data privacy

Technical Environment:

  • Frontend: Next.js (React), TypeScript, Tailwind CSS
  • Backend: Python, FastAPI
  • Infrastructure: AWS Government Cloud, Azure Government Cloud
  • Database: Document DB
