They are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join their core technology team, focusing on developing and optimizing AI models for blood pressure estimation using optical signals. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in deep learning, with at least 5 years of industry experience and an advanced degree in a relevant field. The role combines cutting-edge AI development with medical device technology, requiring both technical expertise and attention to regulatory compliance.
The position offers a hybrid work environment based in Switzerland (Neuchâtel or Lausanne), with opportunities for international travel. Responsibilities For Machine Learning Engineer
- Design, develop, optimize, and document innovative AI models for blood pressure estimation from optical signals
- Analyze model limitations and devise strategies to enhance performance
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical problems
Requirements For Machine Learning Engineer
- M.Sc or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or relevant field
- 5+ years of industry experience applying Deep Learning techniques
- Experience in developing, fine-tuning, and evaluating neural network architectures on large-scale datasets
- Experience in performing verification and validation (V&V) activities of developed models
- Experience in deploying machine learning models in a production environment
- Deep understanding of statistical learning, CNNs, and RNNs
- Proficiency in Python and machine learning frameworks (PyTorch, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow)
- Strong communication skills in English
- Based in Switzerland, with a valid Swiss work permit
