As a Python Software Engineer, you'll have a wide-reaching impact on delivering first-class data solutions. You'll collaborate with product managers, research analysts, and other engineers to define project scopes, maintain and improve Intropic's product suite, and write clean, well-tested Python code.

The ideal candidate should have 2+ years of software development experience with strong Python skills. You should be an excellent communicator who enjoys working in cross-functional teams. Experience in financial markets and data platform design is crucial, along with knowledge of CI/CD processes, data pipelines, and REST API development using Flask, Django, or Fast API.

  • Working with product managers, research analysts and other engineers to define project scope and requirements
  • Maintaining, extending and improving Intropic's suite of products
  • Writing clean, well-tested and production-ready Python code

Requirements For Python Software Engineer

Python
  • 2+ years of Software Development experience with strong Python fundamentals
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Enjoy collaborating with others in a cross-functional team
  • Experience in financial markets/data platform design and build
  • Experience with automated testing & working in a CI/CD environment
  • Deep understanding of the CI/CD process
  • Building and maintaining data pipelines that involve aggregation of multiple sources
  • Developing REST APIs / Web Servers in Flask, Django or Fast API
  • Experience with Microservices
  • Practicing Extreme Programming (XP) Values - TDD, Pair Programming
