Responsibilities For Senior AdOps Engineer (Europe, Remote)
- Oversee the daily operations of a high-scale digital advertising platform
- Monitor system performance across ad delivery components (DSPs, SSPs, etc.)
- Identify and resolve platform-wide technical issues and performance bottlenecks
- Manage and maintain Linux-based server environments
- Utilize cloud tools (primarily AWS) for monitoring, logging, and debugging infrastructure
- Administer relational databases such as MySQL, MariaDB, and PostgreSQL
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and vendor teams to support platform stability
- Act as the primary responder for technical incidents impacting ad delivery
- Document troubleshooting processes and recurring system issues
- Provide operational feedback for continuous platform improvements
Requirements For Senior AdOps Engineer (Europe, Remote)
- 3+ years of experience in AdOps or a technical role within the digital advertising space
- Strong understanding of online ad tech systems including SSPs, DSPs, and ad serving mechanics
- Proven experience with Linux system administration in production environments
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred), networking, and monitoring tools
- Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL)
