Director of Software Engineering (Platforms & Developer Frameworks)

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Director of Software Engineering to join their Architecture and Engineering group. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead technical initiatives and drive impact across multiple complex projects and teams.

As a Director, you'll be responsible for leading technology implementations, making key decisions about team resources and operations, and overseeing the development of scalable distributed systems. You'll work with Java Spring Boot microservices, AWS cloud infrastructure, and various development frameworks while managing geographically distributed teams.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years leading technical teams. You should have a strong background in distributed systems, platform engineering, and cloud technologies. Experience with Java Spring Boot and AWS is essential, as is the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
