Responsibilities For Infrastructure Engineer I, Application Support

  • Takes detailed directions from team leaders to analyze data and systems and conduct problem solving
  • Supports discussions with team and peers on technical matters relating to platforms, servers, and networks
  • Tackles routine technical tasks and issues such as collecting, analyzing, and monitoring data in test and production
  • Develops solution to automate manual & operational task
  • Contributes to root cause analysis and post-mortem to identify and eliminate gaps and improve service
  • Manages the availability, performance, incident & change management
  • Engages with the engineering team throughout the product/application life cycle to help build for reliability

Requirements For Infrastructure Engineer I, Application Support

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related disciplines
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a support and/or development role
  • Baseline knowledge of hardware, networking terminology, databases, storage engineering, deployment practices
  • Basic knowledge of one specific infrastructure technology and basic programming languages (e.g., Scripting, Python, etc.)
  • Basic knowledge of cloud infrastructure
  • Working knowledge of development toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software
  • Experience with Public Cloud offering related to compute, storage, networking, messaging, automation
  • Ability to provide occasional weekend support as part of the shift rotation
