Product Security - Software Engineer III - Greenfield Project

As a Software Engineer III - Product Security at JPMorgan Chase within the Cybersecurity Technology Controls Organization, you will be a key member of our team focused on delivering secure software solutions. This role is part of building the next generation core banking platform that will operate at a global scale and support hundreds of millions of accounts.

The position involves working with cloud native technologies and developing micro-services, integrations, dashboards, production support tools and CI/CD pipelines. Initially, successful candidates will be seconded to a FinTech software partner, providing an exciting opportunity to experience the day-to-day operations of a fintech while being fully backed by JPMC.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Executing security solutions design and development
• Creating secure and high-quality production code
• Analyzing and correlating incident data using specialized tools
• Leading continuity-related awareness and training activities
• Contributing to team culture of diversity and inclusion

Required skills:

• Software engineering expertise with formal training
• Security engineering solutions experience
• Proficiency in Go, Python, or Java
• Strong understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies
• Knowledge of CI/CD, application resiliency, and security

Preferred qualifications:

• Banking/finance knowledge
• Cloud provider experience
• Microservice architectures expertise
• Experience with Kubernetes, Kafka, and infrastructure as code
