Senior Lead Cybersecurity Architect

As a Senior Lead Cybersecurity Architect at JPMorgan Chase within the Cybersecurity & Tech Controls, you are an integral part of a team that works to develop high-quality cybersecurity solutions for various software applications and platform products. In this role, you will drive significant business impact through your capabilities and contributions, applying deep technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to tackle diverse cybersecurity challenges across multiple technology domains.

You will be responsible for leading the evaluation and implementation of cybersecurity principles, processes, and controls, while providing architectural guidance to support business and regulatory requirements. Your expertise will be crucial in developing and maintaining a comprehensive cybersecurity reference architecture, conducting security assessments, and performing threat modeling.

As a subject matter expert, you will work closely with technology teams and business partners, advocating for firmwide frameworks and secure Software Development Life Cycle practices. Your influence will extend to technology decisions, where you'll introduce improvements in implementation patterns and architectural design, particularly focusing on modern technologies such as public cloud, AI/ML, and mobile applications.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent, along with formal training in architecture concepts and 5+ years of applied experience. You should possess advanced knowledge of cybersecurity architecture, enterprise networking, and Identity and Access Management systems. Your technical proficiency should include advanced programming skills and a deep understanding of security products and risk management.
