Sr Director of Software Engineering-Java Fullstack with React

As a Senior Director of Software Engineering at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer and Community Banking line of business, you will play a pivotal role in setting the strategic direction for the Account Open and Activation platform. You will lead multiple technology scrum teams based in India, and collaborate with product and business teams to lay a multi-year roadmap for platform features. The position involves leading and mentoring multiple technology scrum teams in India, fostering innovation and excellence. You'll be responsible for setting strategic direction for the Account Open and Activation platform, collaborating with product and business teams on roadmap development, and driving platform modernization. Key responsibilities include overseeing end-to-end development processes, implementing the "You Build It, You Run It" model, and ensuring alignment with risk and security standards.

Required qualifications include 15+ years of experience in software engineering leadership, proven track record in digital transformation, and strong technical expertise in Java, React, and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience building scalable platforms, leading agile teams, and working with cross-functional stakeholders. A bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent is required, with an advanced degree preferred.
