Maintenance Engineer

We are looking for a highly motivated Maintenance Engineer to join our Portfolio Operations team at Kasa Living. In this role, you will have end-to-end ownership over the on-the-ground operations for STILE Downtown Los Angeles by Kasa. You'll report to the Chief Engineer and work closely with both the Property Operations support team and our Guest Experience team.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining all equipment, systems, and building components (mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, etc.)
• Conducting repairs and paint finishes throughout the hotel premises
• Performing visual inspections and operational tests on machinery and equipment
• Identifying and diagnosing issues with machines or equipment
• Transporting heavy items and setting up new equipment
• Responding to customer inquiries and requests efficiently

The ideal candidate should have:

• Previous experience as a hotel engineer or comparable maintenance experience
• Familiarity with mobile technology and eagerness to learn new systems
• Flexibility in schedule to help with emergencies
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical capability to lift objects up to 25-50 pounds and stand/walk for up to 8 hours a day
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and positively
