Software Development Engineer in Test- Shanghai

This role is crucial in ensuring the quality and reliability of Kong's API platform, which serves as the backbone for modern cloud applications. As a SDET, you'll be deeply integrated into the scrum team, participating in all sprint activities and contributing to quality assurance from early design stages through to production support. The role combines hands-on technical testing expertise with strategic quality planning, requiring both automated and manual testing capabilities across multiple platforms and operating systems.

The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in functional testing, automation frameworks, and API testing, particularly with RESTful and gRPC protocols. Knowledge of continuous delivery concepts and tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions is essential. Additional experience with performance engineering, Docker/Kubernetes, and testing high-availability PaaS/SaaS offerings would be particularly valuable.
