Description For Platform Engineer / SRE

Langfuse is building an open-source LLM engineering platform focused on observability and tracing. As a Platform Engineer/SRE, you'll be responsible for scaling the Langfuse platform, which processes millions of events daily through SDKs. You'll work closely with the CTO and team on infrastructure challenges.

Key responsibilities include optimizing database queries in Postgres/Clickhouse, supporting self-hosted deployments, implementing async task processing with Redis, evaluating new technologies, and improving SDK performance. The tech stack includes TypeScript (Express, NextJs, Tailwind, Prisma, tRPC), Clickhouse, Postgres, Redis, and S3.

The company has raised $4M seed funding from Y Combinator, Lightspeed, and General Catalyst. They operate from Berlin with a strong focus on in-person collaboration (4-5 days office presence). The team culture emphasizes performance, learning, and autonomy, following principles inspired by Reed Hastings' 'No Rules Rules'.
