Founding Engineer (Frontend)

Letter AI is seeking a frontend-focused Founding Engineer to join their early-stage team. As one of the first hires, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the company, culture, and technology. You'll have full ownership of the frontend of Letter AI's web app, helping deliver a world-class user experience powered by the latest advances in generative AI.

The role involves developing high-performance, responsive frontend interfaces using React and Redux, implementing engaging UI experiences with Material UI, and ensuring code quality, scalability, and maintainability in an AWS environment. You'll collaborate closely with the backend team on integration and architectural decisions while focusing on understanding customer needs to improve the user experience.

Letter AI is revolutionizing sales enablement with their generative AI platform that enables sales teams to build and maintain content 10x faster with reduced operational overhead. Their unified platform allows sales teams to train and coach reps, provide personalized content for customer engagement, and improve win rates.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of frontend development experience, proven expertise with TypeScript/JavaScript, React, Redux, and Material UI, experience integrating with backend APIs and implementing caching strategies, and knowledge of automated UI testing frameworks. A background or strong interest in generative AI is valuable, along with a collaborative mindset and strong communication skills.
