Director, Software Engineering

LinkedIn is seeking a Director to lead the Security Foundations Engineering (SFE) team within the Information Security team. This hybrid role will drive the development and implementation of securing large-scale, distributed systems and microservices.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading development of scalable security infrastructure solutions
• Overseeing Identity, Access, Crypto/Key Management, and Vulnerability Management
• Managing large-scale security programs and architecture
• Building and mentoring high-performing security teams
• Partnering with Engineering teams on security integration

Requirements:

• 10+ years security engineering leadership experience
• 10+ years building/deploying security architecture at scale
• 4+ years in areas like cloud infrastructure, search, ML platforms
• Strong leadership and collaboration abilities
• Experience with distributed systems and security technologies
