Litnerd is revolutionizing how children learn to read and write through an innovative educational platform. As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll be at the heart of their mission to improve literacy rates across America, where currently 41% of 4th graders read at a 1st-grade level.

The role combines technical excellence with meaningful impact. You'll work with a modern tech stack including TypeScript, React, Node.js, Postgres, Redis, and GraphQL to build and improve critical features like the Book Reader, Live Interaction tools, and classroom management systems.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing user-facing products and reliable backend services
• Creating admin tools for school onboarding and session scheduling
• Integrating with cloud services (Zoom, Auth0)
• Managing engineering infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines
• Implementing automated notification systems

The ideal candidate brings:

• 6+ years of experience with React, Node.js, TypeScript
• Strong background in testing and deploying production applications
• Understanding of systems-level programming
• Experience with functional programming and domain-driven design
• Knowledge of modern browser features and web accessibility
• Expertise in database management (Postgres, Redis)
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and data processing
