LiveFlow is building the next-generation accounting and finance platform that transforms outdated systems and complex, manual workflows into a simple, smart, and intuitive user experience. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you'll help shape the future of financial management technology.
The role offers exciting technical challenges including building real-time collaborative financial workspaces, designing scalable APIs, integrating various financial data providers, and creating elegant abstractions for frictionless UX. You'll work with a modern tech stack including Elixir/Phoenix on the backend (deployed on AWS via Terraform) and NextJS with TypeScript on the frontend.
The ideal candidate doesn't need expertise in all these technologies - what matters most is your ability to learn and adapt. Whether you're experienced with functional programming or new to Elixir, whether you've worked with React or are just strong in JavaScript, we're looking for engineers who can grow with us.
You'll wear multiple hats in this role: architect balancing performance and pragmatism, developer implementing thoughtful designs, product manager refining features, and mentor to others. We value engineers who understand not just what best practices are, but why they exist and when to deviate from them.
The company is well-funded, having raised over $21M from prestigious investors including Y Combinator, YC Continuity, Valar, Seedcamp, WndrCo, and Moonfire. The role offers competitive compensation, equity to make you feel like a real owner, latest tech equipment, and a monthly budget for professional development.
This is a remote-first position available to candidates in Brazil and Europe. For US-based roles, we only hire in New York (in-office). The interview process includes an intro call, technical assessment, technical interview, career history discussion, and founder interview.
Join us in our mission to help millions build better businesses by revolutionizing financial management. We're looking for problem-solvers who delight in customer satisfaction, have an eye for detail while maintaining pragmatism, and thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
