Responsibilities For Senior Reliability Engineer, Power Electronics
- Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers during hardware design
- Provide Design for Reliability (DfR) inputs during new product development
- Drive Design Failure Modes and Effects Analyses (DFMEA)
- Develop Reliability Test Plans for components and subsystems
- Track field reliability performance
- Drive failure analysis of reliability test and field returns
Requirements For Senior Reliability Engineer, Power Electronics
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics or Equivalent
- Proven track record of solving complex power electronics failures
- Working knowledge in theory of operation of common power converter topologies
- Deep understanding of physics of failure and common failure mechanisms for PCBAs
- Working knowledge of failure analysis techniques
- Experience with accelerated life testing models
- Understanding of reliability statistics
