This role focuses on designing and implementing guidance and trajectory planning algorithms for high-altitude operations. The ideal candidate will lead the development of guidance algorithms, conduct simulations, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of GNC systems. With a required 5+ years of experience, the role demands strong technical skills in control theory, state estimation, and programming languages like Python, C++, or Rust.

Responsibilities For GNC Engineer (Stratospheric Vehicles)
- Design and implement advanced guidance algorithms for stratospheric flight
- Create robust trajectory optimization models
- Build and validate mathematical models of vehicle dynamics
- Conduct high-fidelity simulations
- Collaborate with flight test teams
- Analyze flight test data
- Work with autonomy, software, and hardware teams
- Document GNC designs, algorithms, and test results
- Ensure compliance with defense and aerospace industry standards
Requirements For GNC Engineer (Stratospheric Vehicles)
- 5+ years of experience in GNC system design
- Proven track record developing algorithms for aerospace vehicles
- Strong proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, Python, C++, or Rust
- Deep understanding of control theory, Kalman filtering, state estimation
- Experience with aerodynamic modeling and flight dynamics
- Familiarity with real-time embedded systems
