As a Data Scientist, you'll be part of a cross-functional team working on analyzing Mastercard's vast data resources to bring powerful insights to clients. You'll help scale our offerings by developing new models, creating prototypes, and working with both internal and external datasets. The role requires strong technical skills in SQL and Python/R, particularly with big data and time series analysis.

The ideal candidate should have 2-4 years of experience with a strong foundation in managing large datasets. You'll be working in a fast-paced environment where you'll need to balance multiple projects while maintaining high-quality deliverables. Experience with credit card data is a plus.

Working at Mastercard means joining a culture of decency and belonging, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional development. You'll be part of a company that's not just processing transactions, but using technology and innovation to build a more inclusive and sustainable economy.

Key responsibilities include developing new models and forecasts, designing outlier detection algorithms, and synthesizing complex datasets into actionable insights. You'll need to effectively communicate your findings to various stakeholders and work collaboratively with team members across different functions.

The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while contributing to team goals. You'll need to be comfortable with both technical implementation and business communication, bridging the gap between data analysis and practical applications.

Security is a key priority, and you'll be expected to follow Mastercard's security policies, ensure data confidentiality, and complete all required security training. The role offers the chance to work with cutting-edge technology while contributing to Mastercard's mission of connecting everyone to endless, priceless possibilities.
