Lead BizOps Engineer (MOON#135)

Mastercard, a global leader in digital payments technology serving 200+ countries, is seeking a Lead BizOps Engineer to join their team in Pune, India. This role is crucial for supporting Ethoca's continued growth and scalability initiatives.

The position reports to the Manager of BizOps and involves close collaboration with architectural, development & operational teams to ensure reliable and secure delivery of Ethoca's services. The role focuses on maintaining and improving platform scalability, security, availability, and performance.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in operating Software as a Service (SaaS) platforms in production environments, particularly within the ecommerce space. They should possess comprehensive technical expertise across systems administration, cloud administration, networking, storage, security, virtualization, and software deployment.

Key responsibilities include providing technical leadership to the BizOps team, supporting a hybrid production environment, setting operational standards, performing infrastructure monitoring, and planning deployments. The role requires strong security awareness, as Ethoca maintains PCI-DSS Level 1 certification.

Technical requirements include expert-level Linux/Unix knowledge, 5+ years of Azure and Java application support experience, networking expertise, and a strong background in cloud technologies. The position demands participation in on-call rotations to support 24/7 operations.
