This role is part of Ekata, a Mastercard company that sets the global standard in identity verification, enabling businesses to link digital transactions to real people.

As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you'll be responsible for managing the production environment and ensuring a highly available, scalable platform. The role combines traditional Site Reliability Engineering with strategic infrastructure development, focusing on building systems and automation tools that enhance deployment efficiency and reliability.

The position offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in cloud computing, containerization, and observability. You'll be implementing and managing sophisticated monitoring solutions using tools like Dynatrace, Prometheus, and Grafana, while also developing automated remediation systems and self-healing mechanisms.

Key aspects of the role include leading the design and implementation of Service Level Objectives (SLOs) across multiple teams, establishing best practices for monitoring and alerting, and driving the integration of reliability metrics into the software development lifecycle. You'll work closely with development, infrastructure, and product teams to define service objectives and promote a culture of reliability throughout the engineering organization.

The ideal candidate brings strong experience in Site Reliability Engineering or DevOps, with expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker), and modern observability tools. You should have a deep understanding of distributed systems, high availability, and failure recovery, complemented by strong programming skills in languages like Python, Go, Java, or C#.

This role offers competitive compensation and benefits, including medical insurance and retirement plans. You'll be part of a company that powers economies and empowers people in 200+ countries, working on solutions that make transactions safe, simple, smart, and accessible. Mastercard's culture emphasizes decency, inclusion, and innovation, making it an ideal place for talented engineers looking to make a global impact.
