Senior Software Engineer-4

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their enterprise KYC & AML platform team. This role is crucial in developing and maintaining products that ensure secure, frictionless connectivity to banks across Europe.

The position focuses on building state-of-the-art bank connectivity APIs and creating low-touch solutions for customer onboarding, verification, transaction monitoring, and anti-money laundering operations. You'll be working at the forefront of account information and payment initiation technologies, tackling novel industry challenges in API security, data accessibility, processing, and analysis.

You'll join a diverse team of skilled professionals located primarily in Denmark, Ireland, and Romania. The tech stack centers on the Microsoft ecosystem, with APIs built in C# with ASP.NET deployed to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS). The role requires deep knowledge in some of these areas, though there's openness to candidates with strong ASP.NET experience who are willing to learn cloud technologies.

The ideal candidate should be familiar with modern development practices including:

• Version control systems
• Test automation
• CI/CD pipelines
• Infrastructure as code (Terraform)
• Security protocols (Certificates, HTTPS)

Experience in regulated industries (financial, medical) or handling personal information is beneficial but not required. The role demands a problem-solving mindset and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
