Antenna Research Scientist

Meta is seeking an Antenna Research Scientist to focus on antenna innovations and new architectures for augmented reality wireless technologies. The role involves experimenting with new antenna designs, implementing them for production, and leading antenna research for next-generation AR/VR products. Key responsibilities include developing innovative antenna solutions for WiFi/BT/GPS/Cellular and mmWave systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving the AR/VR antenna roadmap. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with extensive experience in antenna simulation, prototyping, and measurement. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead antenna research for next-generation AR/VR wireless products

Requirements:

• Ph.D. in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 24 months of experience in antenna simulation, prototyping, and measurement
• Proficiency in EM simulation software (CST, HFSS, XFDTD)
• Experience with 5G FR1, LTR, UMTS, GNSS, WiFi/BT, or NFC wireless technologies
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional partners
