ASIC Engineer, Architecture

Meta is seeking an experienced ASIC Engineer to join their Infrastructure organization, focusing on building cutting-edge accelerators for machine learning and data center workloads. This role represents a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of hardware and AI/ML, contributing to the development of state-of-the-art machine learning accelerators.

The position involves working with Meta's expert engineers to develop "Green" data center accelerators, combining expertise in ASIC architecture, algorithms, and performance modeling. You'll be collaborating with AI/ML and video codec experts within the company, helping to architect advanced machine learning accelerators and contribute to their modeling and validation.

As an ASIC Engineer, you'll be responsible for analyzing and mapping data center workloads to ASIC architecture, developing performance and functional models, and implementing reference silicon architecture models. The role requires strong programming skills in C/C++ and deep knowledge of computer architecture concepts, including processor architecture, memory systems, and on-chip interconnection networks.

Meta offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $114,000 to $166,000 per year, plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits.
