ASIC Engineer, Architecture

Meta is seeking an experienced ASIC Engineer to join their Infrastructure organization to build accelerators for top workloads enabling efficient data center operations. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with AI/ML and video codec experts, architecting state-of-the-art machine learning accelerators and contributing to their modeling. The position is integral to Meta's mission of building "Green" data center accelerators.

The role combines hardware architecture expertise with machine learning applications, focusing on developing and validating ASIC architectures for data center workloads. You'll be working at the intersection of silicon design and machine learning, helping Meta optimize its infrastructure for AI applications.

As an ASIC Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing architecture, algorithms, and models for Data Center Machine Learning ASICs. This includes analyzing workloads, mapping them to ASIC architecture, and creating performance models for validation. The role requires strong technical skills in computer architecture, silicon development, and programming languages like C++/Python.
