ASIC Engineer, Host & Userspace, Infra Silicon Enablement

Meta is seeking an ASIC Engineer to join their Infrastructure organization, focusing on silicon development for data center applications. This role combines hardware and software engineering, requiring expertise in the complete Silicon Lifecycle. The position involves working with cutting-edge ASIC solutions and collaborating across multiple teams including Full Stack Software, Hardware, ASIC Design, and Systems teams.

The role demands strong technical skills in C/C++ programming, Linux systems, and hardware engineering. You'll be responsible for developing userspace drivers for network adapters and AI accelerators, working on silicon validation, and creating performance tools for Meta's custom ASICs. The position offers the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technology in Meta's data centers.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in computer engineering with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in SW/FW/HW/ASIC Engineering. Knowledge of Linux systems, networking protocols, and experience with C/C++ programming are essential. Additional experience with VFIO, DPDK, or SPDK frameworks would be advantageous.
