Business Engineer

Meta is seeking a Business Engineer to join their Enterprise Engineering team, combining technical expertise with business acumen to drive partner success. This role sits at the intersection of business and innovation, focusing on solving real-world challenges through Meta's platforms across various exciting domains including Video, Commerce, Monetization, Metaverse, Gaming, Creators, AI, and Messaging.

The position requires an experienced software engineer who can write scalable production-grade code while collaborating with product engineering teams across Meta's platforms. You'll have the opportunity to work with various tech stacks and programming languages, applying your skills to create impactful solutions that accelerate business growth.

As a Business Engineer, you'll be responsible for building new products, improving existing ones, and working closely with partners to develop and implement long-term strategic plans. The role demands both technical excellence and strong communication skills, as you'll be interfacing with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong background in languages like PHP, Python, Java, or JavaScript. You should be comfortable with software design and architecture, capable of writing scalable and efficient code, and experienced in communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Meta offers a competitive compensation package including a base salary range of CA$156,000 to CA$208,000 per year, plus bonus and equity opportunities. The position is based in Toronto, ON, with up to 20% travel required.
