Responsibilities For Mechanical Engineer (R&D)

  • Work across the full product development cycle to deliver mechanical component/subsystem designs from concept to production
  • Manage suppliers for prototypes and production of parts
  • Manage the schedule of your parts in concert with the full program schedule
  • Partner with a cross-functional team of engineers and researchers
  • Work with first and third party partners to advance the maturity of component technology

Requirements For Mechanical Engineer (R&D)

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience developing high-volume consumer products with stringent SWaP-C constraints in such as wearables, mobile devices, or similar
  • 3+ years of experience in 3D CAD modeling (NX, Solidworks, or similar)
  • Experience working cross functionally to rapidly prototyping new concepts
  • Experience designing for CNC, injection molding, die cutting, lamination
