Responsibilities For Network Production Engineer

  • Research, architect, develop and deploy scalable datacenter network architectures and related tooling
  • Work with hardware, software and sourcing teams to develop new optical solutions
  • Develop tooling for network provisioning, management, monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Develop automated network monitoring systems
  • Analyze data to diagnose network issues
  • Test new network products and pilot them in production DC networks
  • Develop test automation frameworks integrated in CI/CD pipeline
  • Develop tests for complex network migration procedures
  • Participate in DC network on-call rotation

Requirements For Network Production Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • Programming experience in Python, C++, Go, or other languages
  • Knowledge of TCP, IP[v4|v6], BGP and related protocols
  • Experience with network hardware platforms and datacenter specifications
  • Understanding of physical infrastructure design including structured cabling and fiber-optic cabling
  • Experience developing test automation frameworks integrated in CI/CD pipeline
