Offensive Security Engineer

Meta's Offensive Security Group is seeking a Senior Offensive Security Engineer to join their team in strengthening the company's security posture through proactive security assessments and red team operations. The position requires deep technical knowledge across the attack lifecycle and extensive experience in executing security assessments against various technologies and stacks. Key responsibilities include conducting sophisticated security assessments, from red team operations to vulnerability research, developing automation tools for security testing, and leading complex technical evaluations of both internal and external systems. The role also involves significant leadership aspects, including mentoring team members and building relationships with stakeholders across the organization.

Candidates should bring a strong technical foundation with at least 5 years of experience in offensive security, demonstrated expertise in code analysis across multiple programming languages, and comprehensive knowledge of operating systems and security exploitation techniques. The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $147,000 to $208,000 annually, plus bonus and equity opportunities.
