Security Engineer, Vulnerability Management

Meta is seeking an experienced Security Engineer to join their Security Organization and help mature Meta's security posture through their vulnerability management program. This role is critical in protecting one of the world's largest infrastructures that serves billions of people.

The position combines deep technical security expertise with strategic program management. You'll be responsible for analyzing vulnerabilities, determining their real impact on Meta's systems, and driving solutions for vulnerability tracking and remediation. The role requires both hands-on technical work in vulnerability analysis and strategic thinking to improve Meta's overall security posture.

• Leading vulnerability management initiatives that protect Meta's vast infrastructure
• Analyzing and responding to zero-day vulnerabilities as part of an on-call rotation

• Building and improving automation systems for vulnerability management

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of security experience, strong technical skills including coding ability, and proven experience in vulnerability management programs. You should have a background in system architecture, threat analysis, and program management.
