Software Engineer (Technical Leadership) - Machine Learning

Meta is seeking an experienced Machine Learning Technical Leader to join their engineering team, focusing on developing and scaling ML solutions across their suite of products including Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Messenger. This role combines technical leadership with hands-on machine learning engineering, requiring both deep technical expertise and strong leadership capabilities.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in classification and optimization problems such as payment fraud, click-through rate prediction, click-fraud detection, search ranking, text/sentiment classification, collaborative filtering/recommendation, or spam detection. This position offers the opportunity to work on some of the most challenging and massive-scale social data and prediction problems in the industry.

As a Technical Leader in Machine Learning, you'll be responsible for driving technical direction, mentoring senior engineers, and developing scalable ML solutions. Meta offers a competitive compensation package including a base salary range of $213,000 to $293,000, plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits.
