The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering with specific expertise in wireless SAR/PD testing. Responsibilities For Wireless Design Validation Engineer (RF Exposure SAR/PD)

  • Developing test procedures for Specific Absorption Rate, SAR and Power Density, PD testing and evaluation
  • Testing/evaluating SAR/PD performance on various wireless products
  • Coordinating with certification and compliance team
  • Forecasting and maintaining related equipment for testing
  • Reviewing and analyzing data from 3rd party lab
  • Working with development teams to debug and analyze issues
  • RF Exposure standard and requirements tracking

Requirements For Wireless Design Validation Engineer (RF Exposure SAR/PD)

  • Bachelor or Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 5+ years related experience
  • 3+ years hands on experience on wireless SAR/PD testing/evaluation using DASY system
  • Experience testing with SAR related RF test equipment
  • Working knowledge of 5G NR FR1 and FR2, LTE, GSM, UMTS, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi technologies
  • Demonstrated experience in SAR compliance requirements
  • Experience filing FCC KDB inquiries and ISED General Inquiries
  • Experience with different wireless technologies
  • Demonstrated experience in collaboration and cross-function team work
