Microsoft's Azure WAN Team is seeking a Cloud Network Engineer II to join their growing team. This role combines networking expertise with software development fundamentals, focusing on the global backbone network within Azure Networking. The position involves designing, developing, and building networking and automation components for the Wide Area Network, overseeing projects from initial design through development and buildout.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of technical experience in network design, development, and automation, with expertise in routing protocols such as BGP, MPLS, and ISIS.   • Experience with routing protocols (BGP, MPLS, ISIS, Segment Routing)
  • Professional software development experience in networking domain
  • Must pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check
