Data Engineer II

The Security Customer Experience (CxE) organization at Microsoft is seeking a Data Engineer II to join their Shared Services team within the Security Engineering Division. This role is part of one of Microsoft's most customer-connected engineering teams, working with clients and partners worldwide to drive adoption of Microsoft Security products. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement with up to 50% work from home flexibility.

The ideal candidate will join a geo-distributed team of Product Managers, Data Engineers, and Data Scientists, focusing on building deep business and customer understanding, conducting opportunity analysis, defining product metrics, and generating key insights for business decisions. The role requires a customer-focused individual with a growth mindset and passion for customer experience.

As a Data Engineer, you'll be responsible for managing the data estate, architecting and developing next-generation data platforms, and conducting in-depth data analysis. The position requires strong technical skills in data pipelining, transformation technologies, and big data platforms, combined with excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

The compensation is competitive, ranging from $98,300 to $193,200 per year, with additional benefits including comprehensive healthcare, educational resources, parental leave, and investment opportunities.
